This winter has ended as far as the valleys go. The mountains are having a hard time with the spring, too. The snow is melting by the hour! So I decided to spend a day skiing while there is still some snow. :)
It was already warm in the morning, and by 1 p.m. the snow had more or less turned into slush. But the sun was shining and it was a glorious day!
In mid-March it was quite warm, but the landscapes weren't exactly green and lush yet. Lubnik Hill above the town of Škofja Loka makes for a nice short climb to just above a 1000 meters. The views - apart from a few stray branches - are great.
