On the way to Bohinj we passed Mt. Stol shrouded in clouds. While the valley was still clad in fall colors, the slopes were covered in snow.

The return trip back to the north where we were staying was spectacular again. The road between Pájara and Betancuria, lined with picturesque white stones, twists across a pass.

At another lookout point at the top of another pass there were two giant statues of men in thongs. :)

We took a different turn and climbed to the pass that leads to the other side of the mountains, to the isolated beaches of Cofete.

For our first session we headed to the construction site on the town bypass road. The work was almost over, but there was still some machinery left.
