There are many small ponds on Kašna planina which makes it even better for pasture - cows don't have to go far to get a drink. ;)

Descending the steep, dwarf-pine-covered slopes towards Planina Govnjač was a bit tiresome, but the occasional view made up for it. More ruins in the distance at Planina Govnjač on the right.

The slight ascent from Planina Ravne wasn't too demanding, and soon we caught the first glimpse of our first peak, Mt. Ojstrica.

Starting early from the Kamniška Bistrica valley meant we had to use our headlamps before it dawned above Velika planina.

On Friday afternoon we took the chair lift to transport all the food and drinks to the hut.
