The southern tip of the island is very desolate. The road isn't paved and only few people make it this far. This is the view from the lighthouse at the very end of the peninsula back towards the island.

After reaching the trail to the top of Mt. Kriz the view of the Pogacnik hut opened up.

A quick descent to the Pogacnikov dom proved to be long and hot. But the views were great. This is the upper lake of the three (Zgornje Krisko jezero).

The night was short. We got up at 4.30 to start the hike early, but before we set off, the view over Lake Bohinj enveloped in fog left us with our mouths open.
