It was very pleasant to drive in the countryside north of Sarajevo and the weather was fantastic.

While the countryside is gorgeous, many houses that were damaged in the war have not been rebuilt and often there is nobody left to live in them as so many people were killed or moved away.

Travnik, a lovely town in Central Bosnia, boasts a fortress Kaštel.
