Sunday was sunny and lazy; we just strolled around some of the sights that we hadn't visited yet. From Olšany Cemetery (Olšanské hřbitovy) we walked to Plečnik's church in Žižkov, then took a ride up the television tower for the views, and strolled past Náměstí Míru toward the old city. My goal was to shoot the blue hour at the Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí), but it was a struggle to put up a tripod as the place was jam-packed with people.

Saturday was the most demanding day in terms of walking and sightseeing. Katka and I took the metro to Vyšehrad and then walked from there along and across Vltava all the way up to Petřín Park, where we explored an enormous dilapidated stadium, climbed the observation tower to admire the city from above and then crossed over to Hradčany and down to Vltava again to wait for the blue hour.

I took up my friend Katka's invitation to visit her in Prague and spent three full days exploring this wonderful city. On Day 1 I saw the Jewish cemetery, the old town square, Charles' Bridge and Hradčani Castle where I waited for the sunset. I then rushed to the Vltava river to take photos in the blue hour.

With the weather being quite stable I made a quick decision to climb Mt. Grintovec, the highest peak in the Kamnik Alps at the altitude of 2558 meters. There was snow above 1600 meters, but crampons weren't necessary. I dragged my brother Peter along and we had a beautiful, albeit windy day in the mountains.

Despite some heavy snowfall in the mountains in the last week, there was no snow on Kamniski vrh. The light was sweet, the weather was sunny and warm - in fact, it was warm enough for me to only wear short sleeves on the way up. At the top, however, the cold wind made me put on all layers of clothing. The sunset was picturesque.

All Saints' Day was the last sunny, warm day of the fall. The following day it got colder and it started to rain - even snow at higher altitudes. Apparently I made a good decision by driving around Gorenjska and taking in the vibrant fall colors above Dovje, on Vrsic and around Kranjska Gora.
