A friend threw a birthday party in a mountain hut on the Velika planina mountain. It had snowed a day or two before the weekend and the wind created some intriguing shapes of ice on everything. When we got there, the mountain was shrouded in fog. It was a beautiful sight. The following day was a total opposite - gloriously sunny in the mountains and a sea of fog in the valley.

It was November already, but still warm enough to go out rollerblading. This was the week that the leaves turned orange and red. It was magical.

This year fall colors have been quite intense. We have a maple tree in our garden and the leaves are so brightly colored even the cat had some fun with them.
