On the way to Island Krk, the late afternoon light was a sign there would be a great sunset.

The texture of the sea was really interesting in the shades of orange.

When we got to Stara Baška, I ran to the beach to capture this.

It was breathtaking.

The redness only lasted for about five minutes, then it began to fade away.

The light slowly turned bluish ...

... and even more bluish ...

... until it was almost violet.
