After parking the car on the Pokljuka Plateau, we started ascending the ski slope. The clouds looked really oppressive and we feared rain.

The steep section was soon over when we reached the larch-strewn pasture.

And then the moment of joy: the first sun rays illuminated the slopes and suddenly the world changed and became bright and colorful.

After a hearty snack at the top we headed towards the Srenjski preval pass with the views of Triglav getting better and better.
