Occasionally, there were great views over the valley from the road.

At the end of the road...

...there was a mountain hut, at 1150 meters above sea level, closed and with nobody in sight.

On one side of the hut, there was an artificial climbing wall.

The tables in front of the hut hadn't been used for a while.
