At about 3.30 am it was already getting light in the east. This is a photo of a about a six minute exposure.

Soon the clouds rolled in and the fun of shooting star trails was over.

There was no sunrise to speak of as the sun was behind the clouds. A bit later though, I managed to catch some sunrays penetrating the thick layers of clouds.
